In our first Awards Gala, we enjoyed amazing food, a special time of fellowship and the celebration of each woman in a very special way. As the Ladies started to arrive, every women look so Radiant and a true Woman of God! We honestly can’t even begin to describe what happened on this night. We did honor 3 Women Awards and we will hear from them!

Member of the Year- Dawn Howell
I want to take a moment to recognize each and every one of you Michelle, Molly, Farras and Thais. It absolutely means the world to me that I was selected as Girl Power Alliance 2022 member of the year. I am so honored and blessed to get to part of this organization from the very first call in March 2022 when we soft launched.
I knew before I even got on the call that this company was going to change the trajectory of my life and I was not wrong. Pinch me! Everything that is offered here is unbelievable and to now also be in the upcoming Radiant Life and Leadership Coaching program takes it to a whole new level of awesomeness!!!
My entire heart and soul is in this community and the growth that I am experiencing in all areas of my life is priceless. I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you amazing women and I just want to thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Radiant Leader of the Year – Karen Mettam
Receiving the award for Radiant Leader at Activate 2022 was such an incredible honor for me. It’s one of the first awards that I’ve ever received and I was awarded it for something which not only was a joy to do, it also transformed my life in the process.
I started this incredible journey this time last year, in September 2021. I wanted to to find out whether God really did want me to be a leader. I felt it in my spirit, but I wanted to make sure. By the time I finished the course in December 2021 I knew that God had put a call and a mantle on my life to be a leader.
I didn’t know what that looked like, I didn’t know who that would be to, I didn’t know where and I didn’t know how. But I did know that I was in exactly the right place at the right time.
I was so blessed that I had met Michelle, and everything that she had set up with Radiant Leadership Academy and Girl Power Alliance. And to be honest, staying awake until one o’clock in the morning for 16 weeks was something that I was more than willing to do, more than ready to do, because I was hungry to become everything that God was calling me to be.
Winning this award is confirmation that I am exactly where God wants me to be. From the moment Michelle told me what she was doing with Girl Power Alliance in January, I knew I’d found my home! A place where I finally fit and I was all in! I’m so passionate about this because I know women need this. They’re looking for this. They’re praying for this and they are desperate to find this. I know because I was one of those women!
I know the vision that God has given to Michelle, I know the vision that God’s given to me, and to so many other women who are in this company with the same vision. Women who are passionate about seeing women coming to know God on a deeper level and making a difference in the marketplace.
This really resonates with me, because this trophy represents the vision that I see for the UK, the vision that I see of where God is taking so many of us and I’m so excited to be at Activate 2023 and to see what God has done through the lives of these women.
I would love to dedicate the trophy to my mum, because she whatever I’ve been through throughout my life, she has been a constant support, blessing and encouragement. Through the good times, through the bad times, through the hard times, through the time she’s seen me cry and the times she’s seen me laugh. She has been constant in her love for God, her incredible faith in him, and in her prayers and belief for me. She really is a true radiant leader in my life. And I know that she is as excited as I am to receive this award.
So Michelle, and the whole leadership team, thank you so much for honoring me with the radiant leadership award. And I love you all so much.

Ambassador of the Year – Natalie Lawson
It was such an honor to receive the ambassador of the year award. I never expected such a great honor when I partnered with Girl Power Alliance. Being able to help lead and collaborate with so many incredible women here at GPA has been such a blessing.
God had planted desires in my heart 4 years ago to partner together with women in their faith and business. Through GPA, I have had the privilege to continue to serve women from around the world and lock arms with the mission and vision for creating Kingdom impact in the marketplace.
I’m so grateful for this opportunity. Here’s to many years to come
The night ended with a private concert from chart topping Christian artist Tasha Layton, who worshipped with us and it truly was a night to remember!
